Privacy Policy.
1. Who this covers
This policy explains how The Meme FOMO Clan ("we", "us") handles information when you visit fomoclan.club, join our founding list, start a membership or take part in the clan Discord.
2. What we collect
- Founding list: if you join it, your email address and the fomo handle you enter.
- Membership: when you pay, our payment provider collects your payment details and billing information. We receive confirmation of payment, your email and the handle you give at checkout. We never see or store your full card number.
- Discord: your Discord username and anything you post in the clan server, which other members can see.
- Things that stay on your device: the handle you type on the member ID card and your checklist progress are saved only in your own browser's local storage. They are not sent to us.
- Technical data: like any website, our hosting provider may log basic request data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and reliability.
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or cross-site analytics on this website.
3. Third parties your browser talks to
To show live data and fonts, your browser connects directly to: GeckoTerminal (live meme market data), Google Fonts (typefaces) and token image hosts (meme logos). Those services receive your IP address and browser details under their own privacy policies. Links to the fomo app, the App Store, Google Play and Discord take you to their services and policies.
4. How we use information
- To send your trial link, clan invite and membership messages.
- To run memberships, billing, cancellations and support.
- To keep the clan safe: moderation, preventing fraud and enforcing our Terms.
- To meet legal obligations.
We never sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it with anyone except the service providers that help us run the Services (such as our email form, payment and hosting providers) or where the law requires it.
5. Anonymity and doxing
You can take part in the clan under a pseudonym. We will not publish your real name, email or payment details. Sharing or seeking another member's personal information without consent is banned (see Terms, section 5). Remember that posts in Discord and activity on public blockchains and apps can be seen by others, so think before you share.
6. How long we keep it
We keep founding-list emails until you ask us to remove them or we stop the list. We keep membership records while you are a member and for as long as needed afterwards for billing, tax and legal reasons. Then we delete or anonymize them.
7. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, or to stop emailing you, at any time. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California), you may have additional rights, including data portability and the right to complain to a data protection authority. We will respond within a reasonable time and as the law requires.
8. Security
We use reputable providers and limit access to member information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We will never ask you for your seed phrase, private keys or passwords. Anyone who does is a scammer.
9. Age
The Services are for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. International users
Our providers may process information in countries other than yours, including the United States. By using the Services you understand your information may be transferred there.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this policy and will post the new version here with a new effective date. For privacy requests or questions, message the moderators in the clan Discord.
